Palin's Yahoo! Account Hacked

A group of computer hackers said yesterday they accessed a Yahoo! e-mail account of Alaska Gov Sarah Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee, publishing some of her private communications to expose what appeared to be her use of a personal account for government business.

The hackers posted what they said were personal photos, the contents of several messages, the subject lines of dozens of e-mails and Palin's e-mail contact list on a site called WikiLeaks.org. That site claimed that it received the electronic files from a group identifying itself only as "Anonymous."

What's this?
Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

I heard this is a hoax. Think about it. Anything to portray Sarah as a victim and keep her in the news.

Throughout the entire primaries and the general election, the Obama campaign has played dirty politics. In addition to the never ending vitriol of the Obama bloggers on the internet, nearly every time I have posted a supportive blog for Hillary Clinton ... and, then for McCain/Palin ... my computer's mailbox has been inundated with hundreds of pieces of email spam. Another example of under handed behavior by Obama's henchmen, is that they have been organized to approach retirement homes, as volunteer community speakers ... only to visit multiple times spewing lop sided pro-Obama, and negative McCain propaganda to elderly people, to get their votes in November. And, now we can see unprincipled politicians and bias media hacks using the race card ... telling people " if you don't vote for Obama, you must be a racist". Usually, when Americans uncover such despicable tactics, they can count on the mainstream media to expose it to the public ... however, in this case, most of the mainstream media is in the tank for Obama ... so, they either look the other way, or they make phony biased excuses to mischaracterize, and cover up what's really happening.

Those are your opinions, not the facts. Credibility is established by backing up your opinions with cited/linked sources.

If you want to discuss media bias, this isn't the seed to discuss that, but I suggest you read some studies about it: http://www.stateofthenewsmedia.org/

I am so disappointed in the comments on this article on this site and others.

To simply assume that democrats, liberals, or Obama's Campaign itself is the perpetrator of this crime is completely ignorant. Are we so subject to polarization and divisive politics that when a Republican is slammed for something, we ASSUME that it MUST be a liberal/democrat?

I am disgusted by the insular opinions and LEAPS to conclusions that are limiting people's thinking in this country.
